Vietnamese, Lao provinces look to tourism promotion

Vietnam’s central Quang Nam province and Laos' Luang Phrabang province are set to increase efforts in cultural and tourism cooperation, heard a meeting on the topic in Laos.
The agreement was reached during a Lao working visit by a delegation from the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee, led by Vice Chairman Tran Minh Ca.

The delegation had a working session with the Vice Governor of Luang Phrabang province, Saysamone Khomthavong.

The two sides highlighted their world cultural heritages of the Lao ancient capital of Luang Phrabang, Hoi An ancient town and My Son Holy Land in Quang Nam as resources to build upon in their efforts to attract greater tourist numbers.
